Utility Location (also called underground utility/service location) is a rapidly growing industry.

Locators have become an essential part of any new infrastructure project, and construction companies rely on their early proving work to stay safe on the work site.

Drafting for underground utility locators is not a widely taught skill, but that’s what we’re here for.

Elevation Drafting knows underground service location, and we’ve drafted everything from basic stormwater pipes through to top-secret “unknown comms conduits” at a military base (which admittedly was pretty exciting!)

We’ve done jobs throughout Victoria and New South Wales, including early work for the North-East Link in Melbourne.

Safety is – and should always be – top priority. Elevation Drafting will ensure that your plans are clear and easy to understand, allowing contractors to visit the site knowing exactly where the underground services are.

We can also do the prep work for your on-site team, by ordering and interpreting BYDA plans.

We’ve drafted conduit cross-sections and been involved in some clash detection analysis.

After a busy day on the tools, let us assist your GPR/NDD team by taking the office work off their hands.

We can draft plans based on BYDA, GPR or NDD information, and can send them back to you in PDF format or a wide variety of CAD formats for further development.
