Way back in 2013, we were approached by a Fire Protection Systems company to draft some as-wireds for them.
This kick-started our journey into drafting as-builts.
Over the years we’ve worked with companies that do house setouts, fire protection, electrical installers, alarm and security systems, and a couple of multi-services installers.
Some of the plans we’ve completed are:
- House setouts (single houses or estates)
- Block/Zone plans
- As-wired electrical plans
- As-wired smoke & thermal detector plans
- As-wired speaker plans
- Security system layouts
- Sprinkler layouts
- WAE (works-as-executed)
- Fire evacuation plans
How does it work?
Your installation team will usually complete a markup (often called a ‘mud map’) while on site, showing what they’ve installed.
To complete the plan, all we need is:
- A scan or photo of the markup
- A copy of the architectural plan (CAD file is best, but we can work with a PDF or similar)
- Any job-specific instructions for us; such as muster point or switchboard layout
